Terry Bolton signs with Denali Rods

Denali Rods would like to announce the newest member of the Denali Pro Staff, professional fisherman Terry Bolton.

“Denali is extremely excited to have Terry on our pro staff,” stated Denali Rods president Scott Estes. “Through many years of professional fishing, Terry Bolton has been the model of consistency.  Terry is a great fisherman, a great guy, and will represent us well.”

Terry Bolton has been fishing the FLW Tour since 1996 and has qualified for 9 championships in that time frame, including four of the past five.  Terry also had 3 top 10 finishes in those events.  Terry has also qualified for two BFL All Americans.

Regarding his signing with Denali, Bolton stated, “I am really excited to be with Denali Rods and I feel they are a real up and coming company. I have been real impressed with the way they build rods that fishermen can use with the proper actions and sensitivity. With the help of Denali my job will be a lot easier this year.”

Bolton will be joining Ray Scheide, Michael Murphy, Preston Clark, and Mark Tyler on the Denali Rods Pro Staff.

Table Rock Lake Fishing Report for 1/4/11

Report brought to you by Table Rock Lake Guide Chris Tetrick.

January 4, 2011Lake Level:909.4
Normal Pool:915.0
Water Temp:46-50 degrees

Table Rock~
Bass fishing has been great on Table Rock Lake! Good reports of both deep fish and shallow fish still being caught. Water Temp's are still higher than normal this time of year making a better shallow bite. The better bites have been shallow still cranking a wiggle wart on chunk rock banks. Crawdad colors in windy conditions. The stick baits are also starting to pick up. Most fish I'm catching are on the bank's but I'm starting to see more fish suspended around isolated cedar trees in a winter time pattern. Warm sunny days look for the fish to be suspended around timber, cloudy windy days look for the fish to be tight to the bank.
Deeper Fish I'm catching on Table Rock have been further back in the creek arms 35'-65' deep. Looking on the graph lots of fish are coming out of the deeper water to bite in the 30' area. Using 1/2 ounce white spoons or a smoke/red tube.
